Bookkeeper – Maple Leaf Dentistry

Maple Leaf Dentistry is a well-established, patient-focused dental practice located in the heart of Peterborough. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an in-person position with approximately 16–24 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

The ideal candidate has robust computer and mathematical skills and takes pride in maintaining accurate and organized financial records. Previous dental experience is an asset but is not required.

What You’ll Do
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial record keeping
Manage accounts payable and ensure accurate and timely payments
Enter and maintain financial transactions using QuickBooks Online
Reconcile accounts and assist with maintaining accurate financial records
Organize invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documentation
Review financial information for accuracy and identify discrepancies




Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as required
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and business information
Communicate with management regarding financial records and outstanding items

What We’re Looking For
Previous bookkeeping experience
Bookkeeping, accounting, or related coursework
Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
Robust computer skills and confidence learning new software
Excellent mathematical and numerical ability
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
Dependable, professional, and trustworthy
Dental office experience is considered an asset, but is not essential
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
