We are seeking an experienced, skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience working as a barista, knows how to make latte art, has excellent knowledge of espresso based coffee drinks and provides exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
Take customer orders and handle cash transactions
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Provide excellent customer service, including answering customer questions and resolving complaints
Upsell products and promote specials to customers
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
