We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join a technology team supporting data engineering initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in Python, PySpark and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) who enjoys working with large scale data processing and cloud-based data solutions.
You will contribute to building, enhancing and supporting data pipelines and data processing solutions that enable healthcare data to be securely and efficiently integrated, processed and made available for downstream applications and analytics.
Experience with healthcare data standards and technologies is a strong advantage, particularly FHIR or HL7 V2.
Must Have Skills
- Strong hands on experience with Python for data engineering and data processing.
- Strong experience with PySpark and distributed data processing.
- Hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GCP data services.
- Robust understanding of data engineering principles, including data ingestion, transformation, processing and pipeline development.
- Experience working with large scale datasets and cloud based data platforms.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
