Position Summary The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Systems is a strategic leadership role responsible for the vision, governance, delivery and optimization of the organization's enterprise application portfolio. This position oversees ERP, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Supply Chain Systems, Enterprise Integrations, and other business-critical applications supporting global operations.

The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Systems collaborates closely with business leaders, operational stakeholders, Data & Analytics and cybersecurity teams, and external partners to ensure enterprise systems align with business objectives, improve operational efficiency, support regulatory compliance, and enable digital transformation initiatives.

This role is accountable for enterprise application strategy, application support services, vendor management, solution architecture, business process optimization, and the successful delivery of enterprise technology projects across all regions.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Systems Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute the enterprise systems roadmap aligned with corporate business objectives.
- Lead the ongoing modernization and optimization of enterprise applications and digital business platforms.
- Establish governance frameworks for enterprise applications, integrations, data management, and business process automation.
- Build robust relationships with executive leadership and functional stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
- Serve as the primary technology advisor for enterprise applications and business systems.

ERP & Enterprise Applications Management

- Oversee the lifecycle management of ERP platforms, including upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and support services.
- Ensure enterprise systems support finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory, human resources, health and safety, and operational business processes.
- Manage enterprise application environments, ensuring stability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Drive system standardization across regions while accommodating local operational requirements.
- Lead enterprise application selection,



implementation, and migration initiatives.

Systems Integration & Architecture

- Define and maintain enterprise application architecture standards.
- Oversee integrations between ERP, HR, operational technology, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.
- Ensure integration solutions support business scalability and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and architecture teams to deliver secure and resilient solutions.

IT Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure enterprise systems comply with corporate policies, cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Support IT SOX compliance activities for financially relevant systems including IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), access governance, change management, and audit readiness.
- Oversee application security, role-based access controls, segregation of duties, and periodic access reviews.
- Participate in risk assessments and remediation planning for enterprise platforms.

Vendor & Partner Management

- Manage strategic relationships with ERP vendors, manage service providers, consulting partners, and software suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, licensing agreements, service levels, and support arrangements.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are achieved.
- Optimize software licensing and application support costs.

People Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Enterprise Systems team.
- Establish performance objectives and professional development plans.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build organizational capabilities to support future business growth and digital transformation.

Qualifications and Experience

- This position requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Information Systems or Business Administration or Engineering or a related discipline. An MBA is considered an asset.
- This position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in Enterprise Applications, ERP, Information Systems, or Digital Technology leadership roles with a minimum of five (5)



years experience leading enterprise systems teams and large-scale technology initiatives.
- Experience within mining, manufacturing or asset-intensive industries is highly desirable.
- Proven experience leading ERP implementations, upgrades, and business transformation programs.
- Experience supporting publicly listed companies and SOX compliance environments.
- Strong knowledge of ERP platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, or similar solutions.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, and workflow automation platforms.
- Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms to enhance Enterprise Systems functionality.
- Understanding of cloud technologies such as SaaS platforms and enterprise architecture principles.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, identity governance and application security best practices.
- Working knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, project management methodologies and change management frameworks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple business functions and regions.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to problem solve and make decisions that is best for the organization.
- Financial and budget management expertise.
- Strong business partnership and customer service skills.

Compensation & Total Rewards The base salary hiring range for this role is CAD $120,000 to CAD $155,000 plus a target company and individual performance based short term and long term incentive bonus, group benefit coverage and a retirement savings plan. The hiring range reflects our targeted compensation framework for the role. The final offer is determined through an evaluation of the candidate’s experience, capabilities, and potential impact, along with consideration of internal equity and benchmark market data for similar positions.
