Committing to mentoring for at least one year involves regular meetings, where you can explore hobbies or simply enjoy quality time together. Your presence can provide them with hope and a sense of stability. Key Responsibilities:
Mentor youth residing in foster homes or group placements
Meet regularly to partake in diverse activities
Foster a healthy, reliable relationship over time
Complete the required screening and training
Contribute positively to their personal growth Requirements:
Minimum age of 18 years
Police and child welfare checks required
Attend a screening interview and training seminar
Obtain an Alberta Mentoring Partnership Certificate
Hold a valid Driver's License Empower youth in care by offering them friendship, guidance, and understanding in their journey.
