In this pivotal role, you will oversee the enhancement and implementation of BCER’s Orphan Treatment and Closure Plan.
You will lead a skilled team in identifying financial and environmental risks, ensuring collaboration with industry partners and First Nations stakeholders. Working alongside the Finance department, you'll guarantee the accuracy of reporting related to liabilities, fostering informed decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Drive strategic leadership in liability management
Improve and implement orphan treatment plans
Collaborate with stakeholders on effective reporting
Identify and track risks associated with insolvency
Improve practices related to industrial disturbances Requirements:
Background in environmental management or similar fields
Proven experience in overseeing restoration projects
Robust leadership qualities and teamwork capability
Effective communication skills with various stakeholders
Relevant education in environmental sciences, engineering, or related areas Lead effective orphan restoration efforts and enhance BCER's strategies in Fort St John or Victoria.
