Ledcor is hiring Materials Technician to support major shutdowns and turnarounds across Alberta’s industrial facilities.If you excel in high-intensity outage environments where precision, teamwork, and execution speed matter, this is your opportunity to work on critical maintenance scopes that keep operations running.This is not traditional construction—it’s fast-paced, short-duration shutdown work requiring adaptability, focus, and a strong safety mindset.Build a Career that lasts – apply today!Watch Ledcor’s Innovation, Culture and Community video to see what it’s like working for Ledcor and apply today to join the true blue team- watch hereEssential Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirementsManage material inventory, including tracking, issuing, and replenishing stock to support project operationsCoordinate the storage, handling, and distribution of materials while maintaining organized warehouse and laydown areasVerify packing slips, shipping documents, and material certifications for completeness and accuracyConduct routine inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepanciesOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers in accordance with site procedures and safety requirementsMaintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systemsWork within site permit systems, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operationsMust successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testingQualifications:Previous experience as a Materials Technician, Materials Coordinator, Warehouseperson, or similar role in an industrial, construction, mining,
or oil and gas environmentExperience managing inventory, shipping and receiving, and material control processesProficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to read and interpret packing lists, purchase orders, material specifications, and shipping documentationPrevious forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is considered an assetStrong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detailAbility to work in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments and adapt to changing prioritiesWillingness to work 10-12+ hour shifts, overtime, and consecutive days as requiredStrong commitment to safety, quality, and teamworkWorking Conditions:Travel providedVarious shifts availableWork in all weather conditionsWeekly payment of wagesExtended health perks provided by CLACCamp providedCompensation & Schedule:Base Wage:$34.85 to$49.78/hour(per existing CLAC agreement and applicable trade verification)Overtime:1.5x after 40 hours/weekSchedule:24 days on / 4 days offor6 days on / 1 day offHours:12 hours/dayCamp accommodation providedFlights from Edmonton or CalgaryCLAC Benefits & PensionAdditional InformationLedcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
