This role involves working on the Early Intervention Therapy program and School Occupational Therapy services.
You'll assess the occupational needs of children and coach families in therapeutic practices. Robust collaboration and communication skills are essential as you work with various support teams and community partners. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine children's needs
Coach families in implementing therapeutic goals
Utilize evidence-based practices throughout your work
Prescribe and facilitate equipment for participation
Maintain records for regulatory standards Requirements:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or rehabilitation
Experience in pediatric settings preferred
Familiarity with motivational interviewing a plus
CHCPBC registration necessary
