You will be involved in preparing financial statements, handling audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role also supports continuous process improvements within the department. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare year-end financial statements according to PSAB
Coordinate annual Financial Information Returns (FIR)
Facilitate external audit processes and working papers
Handle month-end and year-end procedures with precision
Conduct complex account reconciliations for discrepancies Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of three years’ experience in municipal finance
CPA designation mandatory
Understanding of internal controls and audit standards
