Well established auto repair shop looking for an experienced service writer to be first point of contact with our customers. You will be responsible for greeting customers, booking appointments, documenting repair needs, preparing estimates, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Our team of skilled mechanics specialize in a wide range of mechanics including general repairs, maintenance (oil changes), front end mufflers/exhaust, brakes and also a designated inspection facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and customer service, with the ability to thrive in a quick-paced environment.

Requirements
Proven experience in automotive customer service, with a focus on customer retention
Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians and coordinate scheduling
Team player with ability to muti task while maintaining professionalism
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
Ability to upsell services and products when appropriate
Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services




Work with venders to order and receive all parts as indicated on the repair orders confirming quality, and quantity of parts received
Resolve service desk problems and improve current service desk operations to increase productivity and enable amazing customer service
Valid Driver’s License
