Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks.

Solid expertise in Python and SQL.

Experience developing applications and pipelines using PySpark.

Solid experience with AWS cloud services.

Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT frameworks.

Experience with Delta Lake, Spark optimization, and Databricks Runtime.

Knowledge of data modeling concepts including dimensional and normalized models.

Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience migrating data platforms from Redshift, Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, or Hadoop ecosystems to Databricks.

Experience with Unity Catalog and Databricks governance frameworks.

Knowledge of data quality and testing frameworks.

Exposure to insurance, banking, or financial services domains.
AWS Certifications and/or Databricks Certifications preferred.
