Callahan Automotive Inc. is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. We are a busy, growing automotive repair shop offering a positive work environment, competitive wages, and a Monday-to-Friday schedule with weekends off.
What You'll Do
Perform automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of makes and models
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, and engine repairs
Complete vehicle inspections and identify required repairs
Perform routine maintenance and preventative services
Use diagnostic scan tools and other automotive equipment
Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Communicate professionally with the service team regarding vehicle repairs and recommendations
What We're Looking For
Red Seal Automotive Technician certification preferred, but experienced technicians are considered
Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience working independently and as part of a team
Reliable,
punctual, and dependable
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Valid driver's licence
Own tools
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
