Duties
Feed, water, and monitor animals to ensure their health and comfort throughout each shift
Extensive daily cleaning and sanitation, to maintain high hygiene standards
Assist with handling and socialization of animals to promote positive behavior
Perform basic health checks and medication administration as needed
Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, visitor questions, performing adoptions, paperwork,



working alongside local vet clinics for appointments
Observe animal behavior for signs of illness or distress and report findings promptly

Skills
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments, as well as physically able to work in a faced past workplace
Compassionate attitude toward animals and a genuine interest in their well-being
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and visitors
Attention to detail in cleaning, record keeping, and observing animal health
Ability to follow safety protocols consistently in a fast-paced setting
Must have flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
