The Role

Reporting to the Purchasing team, you will support a Buyer in managing one or more product categories. You will contribute to assortment planning, purchase order follow-up, data analysis, and supplier coordination to ensure the smooth execution of purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities Support the Buyer in the day-to-day management of assigned product categories
Analyze sales data, market trends, and key performance indicators to support business decisions
Participate in product selection and new product development initiatives
Create and maintain accurate product information in internal systems




Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries
Coordinate the receipt and tracking of product samples
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support daily operations
Participate in planning meetings and departmental projects. Your profile Qualifications College diploma (DEC, AEC) or Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; 1 to 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, planning, or a coordination role
Retail industry experience is considered an asset
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Solid interest in purchasing, merchandising, or supply chain management.
