As a Arborist Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
Driving a 5 ton truck and chipper to and from sites
Assisting senior arborist with daily tasks.
All aspects on any job including, safety, proper execution, client interface (when needed), problem solving, overseeing the other crew members and giving feedback
Detail oriented, solution driven and organized
Having a positive,
"Can Do" attitude and are respectful of the people and homes you are around
Qualifications · ISA certification (is an asset)
· Capable of working safely and efficiently
· Experience in operating / maintaining chainsaws and chipper
· Valid G class license (D class is an asset)
· Hard working, reliable, punctual, physically fit
· Reliable transportation to our shop (Stittsville)
