We are a small team and looking for someone to help with some general tasks while we are busy, with the potential for extension after the contract.

Primarily, we are looking for someone to sew labels onto various garments. We also have a lot of folding and packing, inventory, etc.

We are a DIY studio, operating out of a warehouse in East Van. Our work workplace is informal and casual. Hours are adaptable, with the freedom to come and go as you please.

Our immediate sewing needs are very easy, requiring only basic experience with a sewing machine.

Mandatory tasks:
Sewing woven labels
Folding t-shirts, placing them into bags
General cleaning and organizing

Optional tasks:
Pattern making, alterations
Fabric cutting, via laser cutter or hand operated tools
Screen printing
Machine embroidery
Social media
Product photography
Sewing machine maintenance/repair

Pay: $20.00 per hour
