This role operates from Toronto while supporting U.S. business initiatives. As an Accounting Specialist, you will take pivotal ownership of the accounting and reporting cycle for various properties.

With responsibilities spanning month-end reporting, GL reconciliations, and vendor payment processing, your analytical acumen will be key. You'll assist in refining processes and work closely with teams to enhance financial insights. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the month-end close process for various entities
Prepare and maintain property-level financials
Conduct bank and general ledger reconciliations




Aid in process improvements and cross-team collaborations
Process accounts payable including vendor invoices Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
Solid full-cycle accounting experience; Yardi is a plus
CPA PEP in progress strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills with a detail-oriented approach
