Duties
Safely operate a 3-ton truck to deliver products to various customer locations throughout Chilliwack and surrounding areas
Load and unload goods using proper moving techniques, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit
Use forklift equipment when necessary to move heavy or bulky items within warehouses or delivery sites
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck to ensure safety standards are met before each shift
Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean work setting
Maintain accurate delivery logs,
documentation, and reports for each trip, adhering to company policies and safety regulations
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with warehouse or delivery backgrounds
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable; certification is a plus
Prior warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory handling and moving procedures
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently
