Key Responsibilities: - Prioritize and transcribe physicians’ orders accurately - Act as a communication bridge for unit staff - Schedule and coordinate patient/resident appointments - Assemble and maintain detailed patient/resident charts - Complete clerical tasks such as filing and data entry
Requirements: - Completion of Grade 12 and Nursing Unit Clerk Program - Recent relevant experience or equivalent combination - Typing certificate of 40wpm from an approved institution - Familiarity with medical terminology - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
