The individual must be reliable as well as having a desire and ability to learn. Accurate computer data entry is essential as well as having the ability to prioritize and manage duties in a high activity practice.

The position will entail various aspects of patient care including such tasks as assisting with eyewear and contact lens dispensing. The individual will also perform clinic tasks such as scheduling appointments, 3rd party billings and data entry.

This position is a great opportunity for growth and development. For the right candidate, training and courses through the Canadian Association of Optometrists will be provided to obtain qualification as a Certified Optometric Assistant.
