contributes to the success of their department by safely and efficiently operating laser cutting and punching equipment to produce parts that meet the company’s quality, productivity, and profitability requirements. The incumbent is responsible for preparing the equipment, inspecting the quality of the produced parts, handling materials, and maintaining their work environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate laser cutting and punching equipment.
Check the raw materials and load the machine.
Check for potential hazards and damage to the machine.
Confirm the cutting settings.
Validate the cutting components (nozzle).
Ensure quality control of the parts produced at the beginning and throughout the production process.
Make the necessary corrections.
Handle metal sheets to supply the equipment.
Management of scrap to maximize profitability and minimize losses.
Dismantle the parts after cutting.
Operate the forklift to transport materials.
Maintain the work environment.
Job Requirements
Years of experience required: None, with training
Languages required for the position: Spoken and written French

determined between $22.50 and $30.28/hour Evening shift premium:
$2.25/hour Evening shift schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 4:15 p.m. to 2:45 a.m., 40 hours over 4 days.
