As part of Aecon’s Construction Solutions team, you will oversee various carpentry tasks, mentor apprentices, and uphold superior workmanship on site. Your role will involve interpreting specifications and ensuring ongoing communication with project supervisors while maintaining a focus on safety protocols and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and interpret project layout and specifications
• Mentor apprentices and ensure their safety
• Execute carpentry tasks including framing and structural formwork
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and inspections
• Maintain client relationships with professionalism
Requirements:
• CSTS-20 Certificate is essential
• Proven experience in an industrial construction setting
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Capacity to lift and handle materials up to 25kg
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
