Position Summary The student supports the Operations and Maintenance team with administrative, inventory, and general office-related tasks at the wind farm sites. The position provides students with exposure to renewable energy operations while assisting with the day-to-day coordination and organization of maintenance activities.
Accountabilities
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking materials, tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Maintain and update inventory records, databases, and filing systems.
- Support administrative functions such as data entry, document organization, and report preparation.
- Assist in coordinating deliveries, shipments, and material storage.
- Support the Operations and Maintenance team with general office tasks and special projects.
- Ensure all documentation is organized, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company requirements.
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school and returning to school in the fall.
- Interest in renewable energy, business administration, logistics,
or a related field is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Reliable, responsible, and eager to learn.
