– Supervisor/Head Housekeeper for Big White Spa Services located at Big White Resort, Southern British Columbia

- Supervise small team of four full time housekeepers
- Schedule employees
- Ensure quality control via spot checks of condos in the afternoons before guests arrive at 4 pm.
- Communicate with company clients via email and telephone for all housekeeping matters
- Manage master cleaning schedule
- Deliver and place housekeeping supplies and equipment in client condos as required
- Pick up, deliver and clean laundry in staff condo as required during busy periods
- Co-ordinate garbage and recycling schedule, pick up and deliver to on-mountain transfer station as required or arrange for other company employees to assist.
- Provide occasional on-call minor services in the evenings to rental guests.
- Perform regular condo cleanings (smaller units).
- Assist housekeepers with difficult cleanings.
- Designate best cleaner to replace supervisor two days a week on supervisor's days off and coordinate hand off of tasks

Work schedule Typically 6-8 hrs a day, 5 days a week but may vary depending on circumstances. Days off may vary from week to week.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Drivers licence valid in BC and clean driving record

Valid current Canadian SIN or work visa required

Ability to perform housekeeping duties to an international resort standard

Punctuality, attention to detail, good record keeping

Friendliness, valuable customer service skills, tact, diplomacy

Excellent communication skills

Good time management, organizational and leadership skills

Experience with quality control and supervision of housekeeping staff an asset

Must have a mature attitude and be responsible

Recent work references required

Must be physically fit

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
