Become the Strategic Director at BCER, focusing on orphan restoration and risk management in Fort St John or Victoria. Lead initiatives to mitigate financial and environmental risks associated with the sector.As the Strategic Director for Orphan Restoration, you will provide leadership in managing liabilities tied to orphan oil and gas sites. This role demands collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, including First Nations and regulatory bodies, to share best practices and enhance policies.



You will also engage with the Finance department to ensure accuracy in financial reporting tied to restorative efforts.Key Responsibilities:Lead implementation of the Orphan Treatment and Closure PlanOversee risk management and mitigation strategiesFacilitate collaboration with industry and government partnersEnsure effective identification of operator insolvency risksGuarantee accurate financial reporting of liabilitiesRequirements:Solid experience in environmental risk managementStrong background in leading restoration initiativesProven ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholdersExceptional communication and leadership skillsRelevant qualifications in environmental sciences or similar disciplinesDrive impactful orphan restoration initiatives as a key leader at BCER.#J-18808-Ljbffr
