The City of Ottawa seeks a full time Specialist to enhance community sports programming. This role is pivotal in ensuring engaging and accessible recreational opportunities for all. As part of your responsibilities, you will plan sports programs and prioritize client satisfaction in city facilities.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement sports programme content • Coach and instruct introductory sports activities • Ensure vibrant community access to recreational facilities • Deliver exceptional client experiences during events • Create a safe and enjoyable environment for participants
Requirements: • Grade 10 completion with experience in sports • Leadership training and prior supervisory experience • Strong team collaboration and independent working skills • Excellent organizational and communication abilities • Current First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certificates
