JOBDESCRIPTION

Our client, Octasic, is lookingfor a Team Lead and Technical Manager -Functional Testing to oversee thefunctional testing department. This keyrole combines technical expertise, team management and contribution to thestrategic direction of electronic product testing activities. Reportingto the Department Director, the selected candidate will work closely with theDirector to ensure operational continuity, knowledge transfer and medium-termsuccession planning.

TASKSAND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan,coordinate and oversee all functional testing activities for their products,from development phases through production support;
- Ensurethe quality, reliability and efficiency of testing methods and systems;
- Lead thefunctional testing team by supporting their technical and professionaldevelopment and establishing clear priorities aligned with business needs;
- Act asthe primary technical reference for complex issues related to board andsystem testing, as well as failure analysis observed in production;
- Collaborateclosely with engineering, production, quality and project management teams to ensure the effective integration of testing strategies into developmentcycles and manufacturing operations;
- Define,maintain and evolve testing standards,



processes and tools to supportcontinuous improvement within the department;
- Assessmedium- and long-term needs in terms of resources, equipment and testinginfrastructure, and contribute to prioritizing required investments;
- Supportthe Department Director in strategic planning, priority management and trackingof operational activities;
- Graduallytake on broader departmental management responsibilities, including planning,budget management and representation to leadership, as part of a successionplan.

Profil

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’sdegree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, softwareengineering or a related field, or a DEC in a relevant field combined withsignificant professional experience; a specialization in electronics ispreferred;
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years ofrelevant experience in functional testing of electronic products;
- Functional proficiency inFrench and strong proficiency in English (minimum 8/10);
- Strong understanding of electronicsystems, circuit boards and test instrumentation;
- Proven experience in technicalleadership, coordination or team supervision;
- Ability to structureeffective testing approaches and solve complex technical problems;
- Excellent communicationskills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
- Experience in a manufacturingenvironment or production support;
- Interest and ability togrow into management and leadership responsibilities in the medium term.

ASSETS
- Knowledge of RF (RadioFrequency) instruments and systems;
- Strong proficiency withsoftware tools used in test environments, including Python;
- Knowledge of relationaldatabases.

WORK CONDITIONS :

- Salary:$120,000 to $140,000, depending on experience;
