Position Summary:

Reporting to the Academic Director, MMA, the Technical Interview Coach provides specialized career coaching to students in the Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) in-person program, with a focus on technical recruitment processes for analytics, data science, artificial intelligence, software engineering, consulting, and related technology roles.

Working closely with the MMA leadership team and the Masters Career Coach (MMA), the Technical Interview Coach equips students with the technical interviewing skills required to compete successfully for internships and full-time positions in a highly competitive labor market.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Deliver one-on-one coaching to students preparing for technical interviews.

- Conduct mock technical interviews covering coding, analytics, machine learning, SQL, Python, data engineering, and related technical domains.

- Prepare students for technical case interviews and business analytics problem-solving exercises.

- Coach students on online coding assessments (e.g., HackerRank, Codility, LeetCode-style assessments) and other employer-specific evaluation methods.

- Provide guidance on interview approaches for analytics consulting, technology, and data science roles.

- Develop and maintain interview preparation materials,



practice questions, and technical resources that reflect current industry hiring practices.

- Organize interview preparation workshops during peak internship and full-time recruiting periods.

- Collaborate with the Masters Career Coach (MMA) to ensure students receive coordinated support across general career preparation and technical interview readiness.

- Stay current with evolving recruitment practices, technical assessment methods, and industry expectations in analytics and technology careers.

- Provide feedback to the MMA leadership team regarding emerging employer expectations and areas where students may benefit from additional preparation.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).

- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in technical recruiting, analytics, software engineering, data science, AI, consulting, or related technical fields.

- Experience conducting or participating in technical hiring processes.

- Strong knowledge of common technical interview formats, coding assessments, case interviews, and analytics problem-solving exercises.

- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and communication skills in English.





- Ability to work effectively with graduate students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.

- Familiarity with current hiring practices at leading technology firms, consulting firms, financial institutions, and analytics employers is highly desirable.

- Strong skilled demeanor, trustworthiness and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

- Willingness to work flexible hours.

- Existing professional network within analytics, AI, consulting, or technology sectors.
