Join Nova Scotia Power in Halifax as a full-time Administrative Assistant, providing crucial support to enhance team efficiency. Your organizational abilities will shine as you manage schedules, correspondence, and office operations.

In this temporary role, you will report to the Senior Director of Finance & Compliance and support approximately thirty team members. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, ensuring health and safety compliance, and handling payroll-related tasks. Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office and attention to detail will be vital in navigating this high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities:



• Organize and schedule meetings and events • Manage daily correspondence and calendars • Maintain office supplies and assist with mail handling • Track safety compliance and training records • Prepare expense reports and process invoices

Requirements: • Diploma in Office Administration or a related field • 2 years of relevant experience preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Excellent communication and multitasking skills • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
