Torstar is seeking a student Editorial Trainee to join our digital monitoring hub in Toronto. This paid, contract role offers hands-on reporting tasks alongside full-time staff in a fast-paced newsroom workplace.
Responsibilities include monitoring police and emergency services, tracking breaking news on social media, and providing quick newsroom tips, as well as original reporting for all Torstar platforms. Must be a current post-secondary student eligible to work in Ontario.
