Overview:
Our Mainline and Commercial/Residential Paving Crews are hiring for May 2026. This individual is responsible for carrying out assigned tasks/responsibilities efficiently and effectively. They will meet quality standards and production targets set by the organization. They will follow established procedures, guidelines, and best practices. It is significant that they maintain open and constructive communication with colleagues, and supervisors. Finally, they will show punctuality and reliability in fulfilling work obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Smooth and adjust surface irregularities, spread asphalt to proper grade and finishes before compaction
Responsible for finished product while enforcing proper safety and traffic precautions
Prepare road surfaces for hot asphalt material
Distribute and rake asphalt material used in construction, repair and resurfacing
Finish surfaces by smoothing and tamping asphalt material to the proper grade and thickness and properly adhering material to road surface
Requirements:
Valid driver’s License
5 years of experience

Wage Range:
The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $30.00 and $45.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
