Role Summary:
We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team for a 12 day shutdown in Redwater, Alberta. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.

Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.

Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, secure work environment.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)

Minimum of 2years of experience in industrial construction electrical work

Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020

Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S; requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment

Valid driver's licence

Flexible availability for shift work, overtime,



and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction

Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions

Compensation & Benefits:

Rate of pay: $42.50 - $47.50per hour

LOA: $225 per day (within approved zones)

Possibility of redeployment to another one of our construction sites upon completion of the shutdown

Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
