and proactively plan and/or implement mitigation strategiesReview and evaluate cost reduction opportunitiesProvide analytical insights and recommendations to support senior leadership decision-makingMaintain accounting policies and procedures and adhere to controls to safeguard company assets and reduce riskManage financial performance, monitor project and operational budgets, analyze variances and forecast future needsManage mid-year and year-end external audits and assist in addressing audit inquiries and ensuring compliance with audit requirementsTeam LeadershipLead and mentor accounting team of various levels of experienceChampion accountability for data quality, forecasting and budgetingIdentify and support opportunities for continuous improvement such as eliminating repetitive tasks and improving financial workflows through technologyFulfill all aspects of the Cigar Lake Administration Manager role, including:Consolidate and distribute financial information, coordinate JV partner correspondence and manage budget filesCoordinate and support JV governance activities, including preparing and presenting materials and leading Audit Committee meetingsLead and promote Operational Excellence and OE culture within the Finance departmentPerform other tasks as requiredComply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and proceduresPromote and adhere to Orano's Values: Safety and Security, Team Spirit and Cohesion, Continuous Improvement, Customer Satisfaction, Ethics, Transparency and Dialogue, Respect and People DevelopmentQualifications and skills we're seeking:Accounting Degree and CPA designation, with 10+ years relevant experienceHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP is an assetExperience setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and addressing performance issuesAbility to foster a positive, collaborative,
