This role at VSB focuses on evaluating and remediating communicative difficulties among students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Your collaboration with school teams will ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive. Applicants should possess strong interpersonal skills and be organization-minded to effectively manage their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess communicative difficulties in students
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
• Provide consultation and strategies to families
• Facilitate career development offerings for staff
• Travel to different school locations for student assessments
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Eligible for Canadian Association certification
• Knowledge of evidence-based communication strategies
• Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication tools
• Strong presentation and training skills
