Ideal candidates will engage in hands-on outdoor work, with responsibilities including soil screening, data collection, and site evaluations. You’ll work with experienced archaeologists, ensuring adherence to safety and stewardship protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct systematic shovel testing per archaeological methodologies
• Assist with auger testing and equipment coordination
• Screen excavated soils for artifacts and cultural materials




• Accurately collect field data using GPS and tablets
• Support archaeological assessments under qualified direction

Requirements:
• Interest in archaeology and environmental stewardship
• Robust communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit for demanding outdoor work
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence preferred
• Enrollment or completion in related academic programs an asset
