As a temporary Engineering Assistant, you will provide vital support to the Senior Manager - Utilities. This role requires four years of relevant experience and post-secondary education in technical fields. Your day-to-day tasks include data collection, field sampling, and maintaining records that contribute to the effective management of water and waste systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with planning and operation of utilities infrastructure
• Process applications and respond to inquiries
• Monitor and input operational data accurately
• Draft correspondence and maintain asset inventories
• Provide financial support services for the division
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation plus relevant post-secondary education
• Four years of administrative or technical support experience
• WHMIS Certificate and First Aid Level 1 with CPR C
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• EOCP Operator-in-Training certification preferred
