In this role, you will report to the Lumber Manager and manage daily operations at the Home Centre Yard. Key responsibilities include assisting customers, safely loading and unloading freight, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Your attention to detail and capability to operate equipment will enhance the service experience for members and foster sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with loading and unloading of products
• Operate yard equipment while prioritizing safety
• Ensure proper storage of various materials
• Maintain a clean and organized yard workplace
• Follow all Co-op policies and participate in safety programs
Requirements:
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Previous retail or lumber experience beneficial
• Class 3 license would be an asset
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
