NCIT is seeking a Term Instructor to lead two courses in its cutting-edge Indigenous Construction Standards Micro-Credential Program. The ideal candidate will leverage industry expertise and collaborate with Indigenous representatives. Key responsibilities include curriculum delivery using both in-person and online platforms, enhancing student engagement, and supporting learner success through mentoring and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver course content in hybrid settings
• Facilitate community engagement and discussions
• Collaborate with Indigenous leaders and industry experts
• Provide mentorship and feedback to students
• Participate in program evaluation and improvement
Requirements:
• Minimum four years in residential construction or management
• Experience with Indigenous housing or community projects
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage learners
• Knowledge of construction quality and safety practices
• Understanding of Indigenous cultures and community needs
