The Indigenous Trainer collaborates with the Office of Indigenous Initiatives to design educational experiences about Indigenous-Canadian relations. You will provide cultural competency training through workshops and seminars, ensuring engaging, peer-driven discussions. This role requires dedication to reconciliation efforts and a deep understanding of Indigenous issues, enhancing the U of T community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement Indigenous training workshops
• Facilitate engaging educational seminars and discussions
• Draft and edit content for training sessions
• Conduct post-event evaluations and analyses
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Four years in training development or delivery
• Knowledge of Indigenous history and cross-cultural communication
• Strong adult education skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
