Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage news coverage priorities across all platforms
• Supervise story development including research and editing
• Coordinate with teams to reflect diverse community perspectives
• Guide and mentor journalists towards high-quality content
• Assist in planning newsroom-wide coverage for significant events
Requirements:
• Minimum of seven years in journalism, ideally in a leadership role
• Proficient in managing real-time news information
• Familiarity with CBC's Journalistic Standards and Practices
• Solid interpersonal and organizational abilities
• A valid driver’s license in good standing
