The City of Saskatoon is seeking a Utility Equipment Operator for a winter seasonal role. Candidates with experience in operating various types of roadway equipment are encouraged to apply.

This full-time seasonal position operates under the guidance of Supervisor VI, covering essential duties with a focus on efficiency and safety in roadways operations. A minimum of three years operating experience is required along with a valid Saskatchewan Class 1A Driver’s License. This role requires attention to detail in maintaining records and assisting with equipment repairs to ensure operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate equipment including asphalt distributors and skid-steer loaders
• Conduct minor maintenance and cleaning of machinery




• Help with repairs as needed in collaboration with the mechanics
• Keep accurate records for maintenance
• Report data to the Maintenance Management System

Requirements:
• Completed Grade 10 education
• Three years of relevant experience operating equipment
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A Driver’s License mandated
• Successful completion of Operator Certification
• Protected driving record as per driver’s abstract
