Elementary School Teacher
The Fort Vermilion School Division invites applications for an Elementary teaching position.

Terms Of Employment 24-month contract Duties/Responsibilities/Skills: As per NOC 41221, Elementary school and kindergarten teachers, Elementary school teacher:
Attend educational conferences and workshops
Discuss results and students’ progress with them, their parents and school officials
Evaluate and document students’ progress
Participate in staff meetings
Provide tutoring assistance
Supervise teaching assistants and train student teachers
Assign and correct homework
Develop course content
Identify childrens' individual learning needs
Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness
Prepare, administer and correct tests
Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum
Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trip
Salary $71,461 to $115,716 annually (To be negotiated) / 35-40 hours per Week

Education Bachelor's degree
Credentials Provincial Teaching Certificate required
Languages English
