Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre is hiring a Community Worker for a temporary part time role. You will provide vital, client-centered support to foster community well-being and assist individuals in navigating local resources.

This position focuses on wrap-around support within low-income housing and will report to the Community House Coordinator. You will collaborate with community members and organizations, facilitating programming that raises awareness of available supports and builds self-sufficiency. Training in program planning and community outreach will enhance your contributions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement outreach activities reflecting community needs
• Develop self-sufficiency strategies with clients




• Engage clients during food appointments
• Conduct needs assessments for program evaluation
• Participate in crisis management and prevention

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in social services or related fields
• Experience with marginalized populations
• Competence in group facilitation and leadership development
• Physical ability to complete job tasks
• First Aid and CPR certification within three months
