This permanent, full time role requires a proactive approach to implementing health and safety programs aimed at continuous improvement. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HSE, you will engage with union representatives and operational teams to cultivate a robust safety culture. Your expertise will be pivotal in identifying risks and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and mitigate health and safety risks and hazards
• Collaborate with teams on incident investigations and audits
• Provide guidance on safety standards and best practices




• Communicate HSEQ expectations to all stakeholders
• Monitor program performance and improvement initiatives

Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Five years of occupational health and safety experience
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC legislation and safety practices
• Experience in unionized environments
• Valid driver's license for travel across Metro Vancouver
