Join PLEA Community Services as a Casual On-Call Intensive Support & Supervision Program Worker in the Sunshine Coast. Support youth at risk of re-offending by providing hands-on supervision and guidance.
In this role, you will utilize a Bachelor’s in social sciences and relevant experience to work with youth and their families. Your focus will be on implementing case management objectives and delivering goal-oriented support aligned with rehabilitation efforts. Building positive relationships and monitoring youth compliance are paramount to your success as part of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop intervention strategies focused on rehabilitation
• Monitor and support youth in community settings
• Conduct curfew checks and report non-compliance
• Assist youth in accessing educational resources
• Promote social skills through community engagement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related fields
• Experience with high-risk youth
• Robust conflict management abilities
• Familiarity with community resources
• Valid BC Driver’s License and vehicle access
