Reporting to the Manager of Water, the Supervisor oversees Lakeshore's Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection systems. This position requires a strong understanding of regulations and infrastructure management, including the Safety Drinking Water Act. Candidates should thrive in leadership roles with a focus on compliance, records management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of water distribution and collection systems
• Provide leadership to staff, fostering a respectful environment
• Act as Overall Responsible Operator for compliance and safety




• Establish preventative maintenance programs for all facilities
• Develop emergency response plans and participate in inspections

Requirements:
• Community College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
• Ontario Class 3 Water Distribution & Class 2 Wastewater Collection Operator’s Certificates
• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience
• Familiarity with Ontario’s Drinking Water Quality Management Standard
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SCADA systems
