Elevate community health as a Community Health Nurse with the First Nations Health Authority in the Interior Region. This in office role focuses on nursing in First Nations communities while promoting health and well-being.

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a committed Community Health Nurse for their St’at’imc and Nlaka'pamux health centers. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing services, work independently and collaboratively within a team, and travel locally to support communities. Your expertise will play a critical role in health promotion and disease prevention, ensuring culturally relevant care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide community and primary care nursing services
• Promote health and prevent disease in communities




• Engage with interdisciplinary teams and local populations
• Conduct health assessments and patient education
• Travel to support health initiatives in nearby areas

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Current BC nursing registration with BCCNM
• Minimum one year relevant nursing experience
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Basic Life Support Certification Level C
