Join MacEwan University as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Associate Vice-President of Indigenous Initiatives & Engagement. This full-time, on-campus role focuses on administration while fostering a cooperative working environment.

The Administrative Assistant will report to the AVP, primarily managing schedules, communications, and event planning. This role requires discretion, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of Indigenous cultures to support initiatives effectively. You will ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently while promoting a welcoming setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee AVP’s calendar and scheduling needs
• Act as first contact for Indigenous Initiatives inquiries




• Organize meetings and produce related documentation
• Coordinate special events and campus activities
• Maintain compliance with reporting requirements

Requirements:
• Diploma in related field of study
• At least three years of administrative experience
• Indigenous lived experience desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
