Reporting directly to the Manager, Work-Integrated Learning, you will oversee the development of Work-Integrated Learning prospects for various transportation trade programs. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to liaise with industry partners, helping students navigate successful placements and comprehensive career development. You will also coordinate essential networking events and maintain tracking of student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and nurture relationships with transportation industry stakeholders
• Guide students through their work placement processes
• Develop and deliver preparatory information sessions for placements
• Track placement outcomes and monitor student advancement
• Organize networking events between employers and students
Requirements:
• Certificate from a recognized trade program in related fields
• Proven ability to engage with industry stakeholders
• Experience in mentoring or career advising
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of labor market demands in transportation
