We seek enthusiastic 1st year B.Ed. students from UNBC to support our schools in the Prince George area, including rural locations such as Hixon and Beaverly. Candidates should possess knowledge of the Ministry of Education’s redesigned curriculum, along with experience in child assessment and trauma-informed practices. This position requires flexibility for casual on-call work within a 65 km radius of Prince George.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and supervise students at various schools
• Develop positive learning environments for children
• Implement inclusionary and differentiation practices
• Collaborate effectively with teaching teams
• Manage group dynamics and support social emotional regulation
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a 1st year B.Ed. program
• Knowledge of First Nations Principles
• Valid driver’s license for travel
